Six was the age I was when I became aware that I was perhaps different.
On telling my mother that I was having conversations with people that only I could see, she quizzed me and then laughed. This again reinforced my feelings that perhaps I was not like other children my age.
However, it was when I was a teenager that things came to a head. I had a clairvoyant experience that was so traumatic that I just shut down. I spent the next 15 years in the wilderness ignoring my gift and focusing on trying to live a normal life and doing what other normal people do. Jobs, boyfriends, eventually marriage and children.
Then something happened. I was 27, a mother myself – my own mother passed away. I had the most overwhelming spiritual experience and the floodgates opened again.
Very soon afterwards a man called David Rogers came into my life. He knew I was a medium the moment he saw me. He actually came up to me and told me what I was! He helped me understand what was happening and what I was experiencing. This was the first time I had ever met another human being who experienced the same thing. David became my mentor and although he keeps telling me we are contemporaries, I cant help but to look to him as a mentor even now.
Davis introduced me to like minded people and also and most importantly, to a Spiritualist Church. It was at this time that I was learning to channel my gifts however, doubt began to creep in. If I am able to communicate with spirit, then where is my mum? Why did she not to come to me?
I got my answer soon afterwards, and via a message from another medium during a service at the church I began attending.
The message I received was incredible. I was given information no one else could possibly have known and I was bowled over. This was soothing and comforting and I felt at peace for the first time in a long time. – This is what Spiritualism does when we receive a message. We get peace, comfort and even resolution. It helps with grieving and it helps with living.
Anyway, with a new found enthusiasm and faith restored, I wanted to learn all abut Spiritualism and Spirit and part of it was on the job training . I attended the Church as a volunteer. I greeted people as they entered, made the tea and was the general dogs body, but this immersion really did help bring my gift out even more, and along with the teachings and guidance from David, things were opening up for me.
As I watched all the different visiting mediums I learned. I saw how they behaved, and that what I was experiencing was not dissimilar. I saw what messages were appropriate and as each of them were different, I learned that it was okay to be my genuine self.
It did not take me long to take the plunge myself and get up onto the stage “platform” and begin connecting with the congregation “demonstrate” Alongside ‘going onto platform’, I practised the use of the Tarot. These were a valuable tool for helping me to communicate with spirit. This continued for many years however, although I had accepted that I did not need them, the cards are filled with so much symbolism they because a valuable visual aid for the many clients that sought a reading with me.
Fast forward to 2009 where I took a long hiatus from all Spiritual Churches, Clients and Mediumship due to family concerns.
Things had resolved themselves and I felt the time was right to get back onto my own path and continue my journey.
I attended churches again and began my demonstrations. My client base was growing as more people chose to come to listen to me.
It was also at this point that due to renewed vigour and enthusiasm that my lectures and talks began. These were an extension of my opening remarks. Before I begin to practise the mediumship, I would spend five minutes sermonising. I call this my philosophy It became very popular and I shall leave further explanation of what I mean by my Philosophy here
I was also blessed with more knowledge from Spirit and this was how to read peoples Auras. Aura Readings are by far the most fascinating and rewarding service I offer to clients.
Alongside my demonstrations, private clients, talks and lectures, I would visit terminally ill and poorly people who were fearful of death. I offered spiritual healing, mediumship support and reassurance to both the ill and their families.
This is still one of the most rewarding parts of my ‘ministry’ and I continue to do so if at all possible.
My experiences with spiritual healing has been hugely insightful. Here I became enlightened to the whole notion of Mind Body and Soul . This knowledge has been quite profound and as I learned more, I began to practise this on myself as well as offering it to others through Spiritual Life Coaching. I was also blessed with more knowledge from Spirit and this was how to read peoples Auras. Aura Readings are by far the most fascinating and rewarding service I offer to clients.
I currently travel all over the United Kingdom visiting Spiritualist Churches, giving Lectures and Talks and Holding Workshops, whilst away from my base in Coventry, West Midlands, I am still able to carry out Aura Readings and have one to one Spiritual Life Coaching Sessions.
I travel overseas where I have fully booked talks and lectures, sold out venues for my demonstrations and lovely spiritual retreats in beautiful places like the Amalfi Coast in Italy. A tour of Australia is planned for late 2027 and the rest I can’t announce just yet.
